Sunday's sermon is taken from Colossians 1:9-14 Paul prays for the church of Colossae, and so we too should be praying for our church. Paul's example of prayer if sobering.
"Grace Baptist Chapel, let us see that our prayers for the church should not cease but increase. And let us leave half-hearted prayers of personal wants and desires only, and simple, quick remembrances of those who might be sick in our midst, and let us strive with increasing fervor to pray prayers like this one…prayers of deep down, raw life change for every believer that is a part of our faith family. Let us pray like this. Time is drawing nigh…life is a vapor, and this is our time…the season God has appointed for us to be in this church, and to pray for her."
