Chicago Statement in Uganda?...Yes!

Just finished day 2 of teaching...what a great day...the team including myself didn't sleep as soundly last night...so at 4:30 AM here, I was up reading and talking with a teammate....God carried me through teaching. Imagine this...Ugandans from various tribes and villages in the 3rd world...studying and writing an in class paper on "The Chicago Statement of Biblical Inerrancy". This happened today. We used a sample sermon that I preached to them on 2 Cor 5:21 to process proper interpretive methods that lead to proper exposition and preaching. More students joined the class today. I also love that when a beloved doctrine, however simply said such as "we get Jesus' record and he gets ours" is stated, the class responds by head nods, and thankful "amens"...what a culture...what a privilege to be here, and to be teaching Biblical Hermeneutics...
