Friday night worship....

Another day of teaching, a trip into Kampala for short shopping and then dinner followed worship with the students. You see, the students here now are on what is considered a "may-mester" meaning they take a 2 week class before the full semester begins. Tonight's worship featured black and white together singing, dancing, praying, shouting... It was a different experience I'm sure for the team, but with the windows open, and mountains in the background and voices raised, there was a sense of commonality. Tomorrow we take a break (I will connect with a missionary that once came to Grace before he came to Uganda to work in another ministry), and then Sunday we have a full day of ministry in churches...I'll preach in two services. I am excited to worship with my brothers and sisters here, and will likely think of my brothers and sisters back home. The brother who is here with me from Grace leaves tomorrow evening to fly home. I'll stay another week. Today this brother from Grace led a song in one of the classes and come to find out, one of the students who traveled for hours to come to this 2 week class had been given by his daughter lyrics to a song and she said that she wanted her daddy to learn it. What was that song? "Mighty to Save". What was the song this brother led? "Mighty to Save".... Keep us in prayer...God is at work here in Uganda.
