So far...

"We have been in Uganda now for 3 full days. We arrived on Saturday evening late and spent a lot of time together in journeying from various places, to Detroit, to Amsterdam, to Rwanda (sat on the tarmac for an hour) and then to Uganda. One brother is still without luggage. One brother was delayed in travel and did not arrive until yesterday. We are now all together, and began our first day of teaching today. What a blessing to see former students on the campus, and to see one of them ministering in a local church this past Sunday. I (Ryan) had the opportunity to preach in the same church I preached in last year and what a blessing. Our call is to spread the gospel, but a part of that call is to teach…to train others…indigenous leaders who will in turn teach and train persons from their own culture. What a privilege we have to be a small part of this journey. Over the next few days, we hope to share more thoughts, experiences, feeling, areas of growth, etc. But for now, Uganda has greeted us well, and we are blessed to have heard them say in the standard greeting of hospitality here: “You Are Welcome.”
